Premium Processing for All H-1B Petitions to Resume October 3, 2017

USCIS has informed the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) that it will resume premium processing for all types of H-1B petitions October 3, 2017. USCIS had already resumed premium processing service for H-1B Cap cases on September 18, 2017.

Normal processing times for H-1B petitions can be in excess of 6 months. Petitioners have the option to pay an additional fee of $1,225 to expedite through premium processing. USCIS guarantees 15 calendar-day processing when a petition is submitted through the premium processing.
